Please join us on the beautiful trails at Heaven Hill Farm for a non-competitive family friendly 5K run/walk! Everyone is welcome to this judgment-free event!

We expect the leaves to be colorful and the fall weather to be crisp and gorgeous! If you have never seen the view from Heaven Hill Farm, this is a don't-miss-day for a great cause! Please stay to enjoy a delicious cup of chili and good company after the run/walk.
Registration and the event starting line will be at the Heaven Hill Farm House, not the Heaven Hill trailhead. Please follow signs for parking!
How will this race benefit survivors of domestic violence? Who is Zonta?
The Zonta Club of the Adirondacks will use proceeds from this family friendly event towards supplying and filling new duffle bags to be given to women who are leaving domestically abusive situations at home. The bags will contain essential personal hygiene items and other supplies to assist the recipients in their new living space, and will be held and distributed by STOP Domestic Violence.
This race is being held by the newly formed chapter of Zonta International, the Zonta Club of the Adirondacks. For 98 years, Zonta International has been a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy, now with more than 31,000 members in 65 countries. Membership is open to women and men. Zonta International envisions a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential.

STOP Domestic Violence is a NYS certified program assisting victims of domestic violence, 24 hours a day in Essex, Franklin and Clinton Counties.
Their services include:
-24-hour hotline: 1-888-563-6904
-Crisis intervention
-Safe apartments for temporary shelter
-Individual and group supportive counseling
-Educational materials and presentations about domestic violence and its effects
-Temporary childcare during office visits
-Advocacy with law enforcement, medical services, local departments of Social Services, etc.
-Information and referrals to other local, state and nationwide domestic violence services
-Information and referrals regarding Human Trafficking
